Will Jeter, Rivera, and Posada Hurt Yankees?

The New York Yankees, long known for signing the best players available, are in a bit of a corner this year. It has pretty much been taken for granted that Jeter, Rivera, and Posada will be with the team next year. But would they be sought after by the Yankees if they were players from other teams.
